The St.Lawrence Economic Development Council

SODES is a non-profit organization mandated to unite Québec maritime ecosystem stakeholders and rally them around the economic, environmental and social opportunities offered by the St. Lawrence corridor. SODES represents the maritime community, with its public and private stakeholders whose activities directly or indirectly impact the St. Lawrence economy, in all regions of Québec.

Milla Mormul-Dubois

Employed by Sodes since 2023 as Corporate Communications Advisor, Milla Mormul-Dubois, plays a key role in the planning and execution of communications projects, whether aimed at internal or external audiences. She coordinates messages and communication strategies and manages relations with stakeholders. His expertise actively contributes to strengthening Sodes’ image and reputation.

Marie-Pier Racine

Employed by Sodes since 2014 and as Finance and Administration Coordinator since 2019, Marie-Pier Racine plays a diversified role within the team. She manages the accounts, oversees event logistics and supports members. Responsible for finance, she keeps the books, manages budgets and ensures the efficiency of administrative processes. Their commitment makes a significant contribution to the smooth running of the organization and the support of its core activities.

Mathieu St-Pierre

President and CEO since 2020, Mathieu St-Pierre is responsible for overseeing administration and federating maritime industry players. It fosters collaboration between stakeholders and ensures a strategic vision aligned with the maritime industry’s growth and development objectives. He also sits on the steering committee of the Réseau Québec Maritime and co-chairs the Table québécoise sur le corridor économique intelligent, demonstrating his influence and commitment to the development of the maritime sector.

Marie-France Daoust

Marie-France Daoust is Director of Corporate Affairs at the St.Lawrence Economic Development Council. With more than 15 years’ experience in entrepreneurship, 10 years in strategic management within the Quebec government and 5 years in public and government affairs, she stands out for her leadership and ability to bring people together. In her role, she is responsible for developing business growth strategy, forging strategic partnerships, and mobilizing maritime organizations around today’s major issues.
