Setting course for 2030
In this niche, the Port of Trois-Rivières has pursued actions that will lead to the achievement of

competitive supply chain. Proud of its urban character, in March it organized, in collaboration with
with CSL and the Coast Guard, the public visit of two ships for which beaches

The partnership with the ports of Montreal and Quebec has also reached a new milestone
when, in May, the three ports jointly announced their participation in the
Canadian government. This is a voluntary initiative by which ports implement
credible and effective transition plans to ensure that their facilities and operations do not
produce zero emissions by 2050. In announcing their membership, the ports have undertaken to
accelerate the decarbonization of the maritime industry along the St. Lawrence maritime corridor.
The year 2023 was also busy with the creation of the Centre d’expertise en
port logistics, of which the Port is a founding member. Through this initiative and association, it aims to
improving logistics and port activities in a context of sustainable development. Visit

role in the collective future, the Port will sometimes be transformed, for the benefit of the Centre, into a platform
