Ice Canoe Team

In 2018, Sodes partnered with the Port of Quebec and Groupe Océan to form a maritime ice canoe team, named Delivered by Ship/Ocean/Port of Quebec.

During the season, the team took part in 7 races, in Rimouski, Quebec City, Montreal, Charlevoix and Sorel-Tracy. The team also visited a number of schools in the Quebec City area to introduce youngsters to the discipline, and presented them with Livré par navire tatoos.

Le Grand Défi Pierre-Lavoie

Since 2016, Sodes has been a partner of a team of Lower St. Lawrence drivers taking part in the 1,000 km Grand défi Pierre Lavoie. As part of the Grand défi, each registered team joins forces with at least one elementary school of its choice, encouraging it to sign up for the Energy Cubes challenge as a form of mentoring for young people in the area of healthy lifestyle habits. and presented a Rubik’s Cube in the Delivered by Ship colors to each of the youngsters in the sponsored schools.

Desgagnés Kayak Challenge Montreal - Quebec

The Défi kayak Desgagnés Montréal – Québec is a fundraising event in aid of Jeunes musiciens du monde, involving a four-day kayak trip along the St. Lawrence River between Montreal and Quebec City. In 2016, Sodes sponsored a team of maritime industry representatives in the colors of Delivered by Ship – Merci mon fleuve! In addition, Sodes provided all participants with promotional items in the Delivered by Ship colors.

Marie-France Daoust

Marie-France Daoust is Director of Corporate Affairs at the St.Lawrence Economic Development Council. With more than 15 years’ experience in entrepreneurship, 10 years in strategic management within the Quebec government and 5 years in public and government affairs, she stands out for her leadership and ability to bring people together. In her role, she is responsible for developing business growth strategy, forging strategic partnerships, and mobilizing maritime organizations around today’s major issues.
