The Port of Montreal has again this year won three awards in the annual Communications Awards Program organized by the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA).
The Award of Distinction in the “Annual Report” category went to the Port of Montreal’s 2013 annual report “The Port at the Heart of Daily Life.” This document features Port clients who import products used daily by most people.
Two Awards of Merit round out this honour. The first, in the “Advertising Series” category, recognizes the “Trading With The World” advertising campaign. This initiative is part of a strategic plan to promote the Port of Montreal internationally. Made available in print and electronic versions, it brings the reader to the Port of Montreal’s B2B platform.
This same advertising campaign earned a second Award of Merit in the “Overall Campaign” category.
The 2015 48th edition of the Communications Awards Program honoured 25 North American ports for the quality of their communications program. “When port authorities communicate strategically with their many audiences, including their communities, business leaders and policymakers, they’re better able to show their tremendous value as drivers of economic development, environmental enhancement and job creation,” said Kurt Nagle, AAPA’s president and CEO.
The recipients will receive their awards at a ceremony on November 4 in Miami during the AAPA’s 104th annual convention and trade show.
