Mr. Gaétan Boivin, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Trois-Rivières Port Authority (TRPA), is pleased to announce that Ms. Claudie Gagnon has been appointed as Director of Sustainable Development. Ms. Gagnon is filling a new position created at the TRPA to support Port as it grows.
Ms. Gagnon holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in biology from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. She has over 20 years’ experience as a consultant for businesses with a vision of the industry focused on, notably, production and operations toward sustainable development. Her fields of expertise range from environmental and social impact studies to contaminated soil characterization, management, and rehabilitation plans, and she has a good knowledge of the various provincial and federal environmental laws and of governmental affairs.
Her mandate will include supporting management in terms of the environment, the development and application of policies, orientations, programs, regulations, and procedures, and any other subject relating to the environment and to safety.
