Chantal Rouleau presents the new government’s vision for developing the St. Lawrence at a SODES luncheon conference

On February 28, SODES welcomed Minister for Transport and Minister Responsible for the Metropolis and the Montréal Region Chantal Rouleau at a luncheon conference organized in Québec City.

The Minister presented the new government’s vision for developing the St. Lawrence River to the 130 guests in attendance.
Using Commander Jacques Cousteau’s quote as a maxim, Ms. Rouleau pointed out that developing and safeguarding the St. Lawrence will go hand-in-hand.
This vision will focus on synergy between and complementarity of the various stakeholders and experts.

In concluding her conference, the Minister announced upcoming consultations aimed at working on the Maritime Strategy’s next five-year plan.
