ON COURSE FOR THE FUTURE – 1st MAJOR IMQ FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN

On June 13, the Fondation de l’Institut maritime du Québec  launched ON COURSE FOR THE FUTURE, its biggest fundraising campaign ever, which has already raised $914 551 of its $2.5 M overall goal.

In a context of marine sector human resources scarcity, this major campaign is essential. The monies raised will be used to revamp the premises to offer students a first-rate[MG1]  study and living environment, provide various forms of student financial assistance, promote maritime careers to bolster recruitment and encourage applied research.

The $914 551 already collected comes from significant donations from Groupe Desgagnés ($300 000), the entire marine pilotage community ($300 000), Canada Steamship Lines ($100 000) and Ocean Group ($100 000).

Come aboard to make a difference for the next generation of marine sector workers!
