2019 SODES RENDEZ-VOUS

The St. Lawrence Economic Development Council (SODES) is pleased to announce that the SODES Rendez-vous’ 6th edition will take place on April 11 in Montréal.

This year’s theme is Port development and land-use planning: issues and outlook for the future.

In the current context, where many Québec ports are expanding their territory, where federal ports are being transferred to the provincial government and where the Québec Maritime Strategy is being renewed, SODES proposes addressing issues related to land-use planning and social acceptability through presentations and testimonies of various industrial, institutional, regional and metropolitan stakeholders.

Although the details of the preliminary program remain to be finalized, SODES will welcome the following panelists:

  • Sophie Roux, Vice-President, Public Affairs, Port of Montreal
  • Guy Dumoulin, Municipal Councillor, Ville de Lévis, and Executive Committee  Member, Communauté métropolitaine de Québec
  • Stéphane Pigeon, Director of Green Economy and Logistics, Ministère de l’Économie et de l’Innovation
  • Jérôme Landry, Mayor, Ville de Matane

The preliminary program will be online soon. Don’t miss this key maritime community rendez-vous!
