Sodes joins Québec-Océan advisory committee

Québec-Océan is a group of scientists and their partners involved in oceanographic research. More than 200 members from six Québec universities, various government departments and NGOs collaborate to develop oceanography, train students and transfer knowledge.

The advisory committee comprises key university partners (vice-deans) and users of Québec-Océan’s research findings. Funded primarily under the Fonds de Recherche du Québec – Nature et Technologies (FRQNT) (Québec’s nature and technologies research fund), the group will reach an important milestone this year: 2018 marks its mid-way assessment.

As an advisory committee member, SODES will be invited to familiarize itself with both Québec-Océan’s actions from 2015 to 2017 and FRQNT assessment criteria so as to be able to advise the group and assess its development opportunities in the current context.
