QUÉBEC CITY, June 14, 2024 – At the close of its Annual General Meeting, the Société de développement économique du Saint-Laurent (Sodes) is proud to announce that Jean-Philippe Brunet, Executive Vice-President – Corporate Affairs and Partnerships at Ocean Group, has become the new Chairman of the Board of Directors. He succeeds Mario Girard, President and CEO of the Port of Québec, who has been Chairman of the Board since June 2019.
“On behalf of the entire Board of Directors and the members of Sodes, I would like to thank Mario for his dedication and leadership throughout his term as Chairman of the Board. In the course of his mandate, he has not only contributed to Sodes’ reputation and demonstrated his ability to bring people together, but he has also contributed to the influence of the Québec maritime industry. His vision and commitment have been essential drivers of success,” says Brunet, the new Chairman of the Board.
