DÉFI KAYAK DESGAGNÉS CHALLENGE: THE MARINE INDUSTRY RALLIES IN SUPPORT OF YOUNG PEOPLE!

The 4th edition of the Défi kayak Desgagnés challenge, a fundraiser involving kayaking the St. Lawrence River from Montréal to Québec City in four days, will run August 9-12 this year.

This year, the Défi kayak Desgagnés will initiate its corporate component. Some 15 teams sporting different companies’ colours will be joining the adventure. Each participant pledges to raise at least $2000 to enjoy this unique experience and enable children and teens from at-risk environments to grow through musical activities offered free of charge.

For this 4th edition, SODES and numerous of its members have rallied to support this noble cause.
They include: QSL, Port of Trois-Rivières, Port of Montréal, Port of Québec, Port of Saguenay, Énergir, Valero Energy, Stikeman Elliot, Institut maritime du Québec, and, of course, Desgagnés, the event’s spearheading partner.
